Light It Up Green – Photo Op

Mental Health America Wabash Valley Region is thrilled to announce an exciting addition to our May activities! In solidarity with MHA National’s efforts to promote mental health awareness, the Lafayette Courthouse will be illuminated in green lights from May 3rd through 5th. In addition, for the entire month, a powerful visual symbol of our town’s unwavering support for mental health initiatives is shown by our Public Safety Building, shining mental health awareness green upon the building!
This initiative, part of a nationwide campaign to illuminate landmarks in green across every city in the country, demonstrates Lafayette’s commitment to fostering an environment of understanding, acceptance, and support for individuals facing mental health challenges. By lighting up the city, we aim to spark conversations, raise awareness, and encourage community members to join us to break down stigma and promote mental wellness. We encourage everyone to visit the courthouse or Public Safety Building during May and take a moment to reflect on the importance of mental health awareness.
